Visit Your Library and Check Out a Museum with
Museum Adventure Passes

The West Bloomfield Township Public Library joins Macy's, 162 Detroit metro area libraries (through the Library of Michigan Foundation) and local arts and cultural organizations (through the Cultural Alliance of Southeastern Michigan) in a first-of-its-kind partnership to present Museum Adventure Passes. This program provides residents of West Bloomfield, Keego Harbor, Orchard Lake, or Sylvan Lake complimentary passes to more than 25 local museums, cultural centers and historical sites. It is designed to enhance the learning experience for people of all ages through books and other library materials and at the same time provide access to arts and cultural organizations.

How does it work?

1. Come to the West Bloomfield Township Public Library or Westacres Branch Library. You will find a display with brochures about the program and Museum Adventure Passes.
2. Choose the Museum Adventure Pass for the location you are interested in visiting (see complete list below). Check out the laminated pass using your library card at the nearest self-checkout machine.
3. Take the pass to the reception desk where it will be exchanged for a paper ticket. You will need the paper ticket to enter the museum or attraction of your choice. The ticket is good for either 2 or 4 complimentary admissions and is limited to one at a time.
4. Use your ticket within 7 days to visit the museum or attraction. The museum will keep your ticket.
5. Please remember that there are a limited number of Museum Adventure Passes available at any given time at either location and they are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
