Death Comes as the End
by Agatha Cristie
Death Comes as the End was a fresh awakening for me, a good book to start the summer off with. Though many older than me had told me Agatha Cristie novels would be difficult to understand, I found it fairly easy and I believe many of you will as well. Being an Agatha Cristie novel, it is easy to assume it being a mystery, as is true. This book, however, was a very unusual type of mystery, though not bad. It might have started out a little slow and been hard to get into, but it was worth it after reading on. It was set in past Egypt, the setting itself new for me. Through the works of the novel, I unconsciously learned about Egyptian mythology, rituals, family life, and many other things related to it. I recommend it to any who enjoy mysteries, or even just enjoy reading about Egypt.
