Introduction to Blogs

Blogs, short for weblog, are one of the new web communication tools for individuals to express themselves and for companies and organizations to reach the masses. A blog is similar to a diary, where the creator posts regular entries for others to read and comment on. Learn what blogs are, who is blogging and how to create a blog using the website Blogger.
Prerequisite: Familiarity with the Internet and an email account.

Pre-registration is required for all classes.

• Workshops are limited to 20 people.
• Registration is accepted by phone or in person
• Group registrations are not accepted.
• Walk-ins and unregistered "guests" of registered participants are not accepted.
• Residents of West Bloomfield and our contract communities aged 14 and up are eligible. Proof of residency is required via a valid West Bloomfield Library card. (Our contract communities are: Sylvan Lake, Orchard Lake, and Keego Harbor).
